Card Reader DLL Downloads

How to install a new card reader DLL and configure a new Bank:

1. Download a copy of the DLL file for the new card reader.
2. Save the DLL file into the \Pharos\Bin folder (e.g. \Program Files\Pharos\Bin) on each Pharos Station machine.
3. Start the Pharos Administrator.
4. On the menu tree, expand 'Charging' and go to 'Logon DLL's'.
5. Click the 'Insert' button to add a new logon DLL entry.
6. Follow and complete the Insert wizard. In the 'What is the file name of the DLL?' field, enter the actual file name of the downloaded DLL file.
7. On the menu tree, expand 'Charging' and go to 'Banks'.
8. Either select an existing bank or click the 'Insert' button to create a new bank.
9. In the selected or newly created Bank, select the new Logon DLL for either (or both, where applicable):
   • Source of Identification
   • Source of Payment
10. Click the 'Change Control' button.
